❗ In its recent Future Health Index, Philips alerts that three in four healthcare leaders report delays in care because of increasing waiting lists for appointments, longer wait times for treatments and delayed access to screening, diagnosis and preventative care. 💡 Philips highlights automation and virtual care as solutions to address the consequences of the shortage of healthcare professionals. 📣 At Healthanea, we integrate both digital and physical care providers into our platform to facilitate the access to care and offset the shortage of resources. Moreover, thanks to a compliant data exchange among providers, we guide the patients to the right service at the right time within primary care, early detection and post diagnosis care pathways. https://lnkd.in/d8BaizwT

Today, our team is working to solve some of the biggest problems facing healthcare systems, like bed capacity, length of stay, relieving overloaded emergency departments, building successful hospital@home programs, and more. We are doing this by leveraging the deep data insights acquired in IntelliSpace ECG that are coming from all over, including patients at home from Philips MCOT. I discuss this in this DotMed article on how ambulatory monitoring can help health systems adapt to complex challenges in patient care. https://lnkd.in/dd6E4c8q What big challenge is your healthcare system trying to solve?

Innovation, technology and patient centric solutions to help meet the needs of patient care at home.
A great article from Bruce Japsen at Forbes described the new collaboration announced this morning between Medically Home and Siemens Healthineers: "The collaboration to join forces is a sign a technology and new way of delivering medical care that took off during the Covid-19 pandemic is not only here to stay but has a future." The article goes on to note increasing pressures for health systems and hospitals to reduce costs amid ongoing post-pandemic challenges. Noteworthy because the key driver for moving more care to the home is the quality of patient care that is possible in the home. Improving the quality of care and changing the site of care to the home reduces the overall cost of care, something that Medically Home and its partners continue to demonstrate. "The healthcare system isn’t broken. It’s working as designed, and it’s in dire need of a redesign. Value-based care is clearly one improved design of economic incentives to bring the power and motivation back into the hands of providers." Thank you, Wilson Sonsini, for a frank discussion with our CEO, Sean K Mehra, about leadership at the forefront of digital health alongside other fellow luminaries at Wilson Sonsini’s 31st Annual Digital Health and Medical Device Conference last week. #healthcare #digitalhealth #healthcareinnovation
