How do we convince the population that taking part in clinical trials means getting access to better treatment? How do we make sure that the benefit of an innovation district riverberates across all layers of the population, not just to those in the shiny buildings? How do we go about building, and sometimes re-building trust? If you want to try to answer these crucial questions, this is the event.

The healthcare industry is shifting towards patient-centered care and centralized data management. Tiga Healthcare Technologies user-friendly Personal Health Record (PHR) System and our ongoing partnerships, which focus on patient engagement, solidify our leadership in the evolving healthcare IT framework. Thanks to PHR, patients securely access their health records 24/7, boosting patient-centered care and more informed decision-making processes. Patients, healthcare professionals and authorities benefit from real-time information and powerful data management. Our PHR delivers more than these advantages and aligns with recent research, such as European Parliament's recent policy options on multi-country collaboration for rare diseases. Among the six policy options for rare diseases, utilizing electronic health records and secure access to real-time medical data for patients is essential. In essence, PHR opens the road for us to lead patient-centered healthcare IT. It streamlines healthcare delivery for impactful solutions globally. Let's shape the future together, as always! On day 2 of the #RC74CPH, it was an honour and a privilege to deliver a joint statement on behalf of European Patients' Forum and 11 other organisations to express our strong support for the WHO Regional Office for Europe Engagement Plan with Non-State Actors. 🏥 As our HC systems face growing challenges, inclusive health governance is critical to ensure that health policies meet people’s needs, in line with the #WHA77 Resolution on Social Participation. 📢 Civil society organisations bring to the public debate the voices of patients, carers, professionals, people with lived experiences, and many others. ✏️ The Plan brings together established workstreams and ambitious new goals. The very process of its development is a model of early engagement, co-creation, and respectful dialogue. 📈 We propose collaborating on a monitoring framework with clearly defined short-term outcomes and longer-term targets. What gets measured gets done! 💰 We call on WHO and MS to help address challenges to the sustainability of CSOs. MS must allocate budgets and reliable and transparent sources of funding to sustain this dialogue. 🤝 We look forward to working with WHO to translate it into concrete actions and work together towards better health outcomes for all and more equitable HC systems. There is much to say about the recent release of this WHO guide. Most importantly, it is a critical step toward more inclusive and equitable clinical trials, addressing long-standing issues like poor trial design, lack of diversity, and under-representation of low- and middle-income countries. By promoting stronger country-led research and ensuring broader participation, this guidance aims to accelerate access to safe, effective health interventions globally. https://lnkd.in/eM9UbtsD
