Create an ‘Ask Me Anything’ round for your candidates. So many companies are running interviewer led/top down processes. In a competitive hiring market, this isn’t enough. Have the candidate interview you. From my experience candidates don't pull out of a process because there are too many rounds, they pull out because it's an absolute shambles. - 3 stages have turned into 5 - Waiting weeks for feedback - Stakeholders running one-way interviews What to do? - Outline the process and stick to it - Provide feedback within 24 hours - Improve your interview techniques It's definitely an employer's market right now but WHEN the market shifts poor practices will catch you out.
