We see a lot of posts on edible supplements which are purported to reduce stress. This is fake and misleading advertisements. One cannot reduce stress by eating anything. Another word to look out for which does not have any scientific basis is detox. The human body has natural mechanism to get rid of unwanted products of various metabolic processes. Although words like detox and stress reduction are used liberally, they actually mean nothing in the real scientific sense.
