At the top of your tree is your star—your core values. It shines brightly, guiding you toward what truly matters: connection, kindness, authenticity. The star reminds you to focus on decorating your life in alignment with those values, instead of fixating on the ornaments you wish were different. Acceptance is stepping back and appreciating your tree, messy ornaments and all. Commitment is choosing to keep adding lights and garlands—bringing joy and meaning, even when some parts feel out of place. One way of living is to complain and wait for people and situations to radiate love and joy to us. The other way is to take responsibility of making our life more loveful and joyful each day. Waking up in the morning if we allow the Self to soak in the consciousness of its true nature, we can feel ourself getting filled with a natural goodness. Then we can radiate this goodness of giving love and not hate, giving joy and not tears to everyone in the day. Love and joy flows in our every interaction. Effectively, we can organize the day in our mind about not just ‘what to do’ in the entire day but also ‘HOW TO BE’ while doing those tasks. By doing this we set the tone of the day, of the vibrations we radiate - while getting ready, when in traffic, at workplace, with colleagues, working on projects, returning home and our time with family. Challenges will be there but we will cross them cheerfully. When we are drawn into love and joy of the self, giving it becomes natural. We use our own qualities and see the same qualities in others. Our presence enhances the vibrations of places and people around us. When we do this day after day, our life becomes a gift to the world.
