What is person-centred care? The SPECAL method is rooted in an understanding of person-centred care. Person-centred care provides us with a set of principles which are applicable to any human being, regardless of age, race, creed, medical condition, and so on. The state of well-being for any person requires four global subjective states (feelings) to be present.
