I got some interesting follow-up questions from my recent post about the value of identifying veterans in MA populations and retrieving documentation of their care from the VA. While there certainly are challenges in interfacing with the VA (challenges that BeneLynk is built to address), it is also undeniable that the VA charts contain an enormous amount of actionable information that can improve care, improve risk adjusted revenue, and -- as seen below -- substantially impact quality metrics. If your Medicare Advantage plan is not seeing the VA care your members are receiving, you are working with one hand tied behind your back.

🚨 New National Cost Collection analysis from CF! In England, #Accident and #Emergency spend has increased by 30% between 2019/20 and 2021/22 with activity only increasing by 1%. New CF analysis highlights the opportunities to optimise productivity in delivering care across all settings. 🔸 Our analysis of National Cost Collection data, as part of our Productivity offer, has outlined the inflation-adjusted change in spend across the delivery of different types of care between 2019/20 and 2021/22 as compared to the relative change in activity. 🔸 The data shows that spend on elective inpatients has increased by 16% over the period, with activity reducing by 6%. 🔸 Optimising productivity reduces resource waste and enables near-term improvement in financial performance whilst starting to make steps for longer term financial security. Check out the below visual which dives into the findings across each care delivery setting. 👇 #NHS #Productivity #Recovery #Covidrecovery
