Fake Pharma Group Alert: This message is to inform Pharma colleagues about a Pharma Co. M/s. Bolan Group of Companies, Islamabad who’s operating to lure senior pharma professionals while offering higher salaries and perks like car, fuel, medical, bonuses and health insurance etc. The modus operandi is a phone call by Mr. Muhammad Faisal, Manager HR/Admin. while saying that your profile has been viewed on LinkedIn and that there’s a senior position available at a new pharma project being initiated by the group at Bin Qasim, Karachi etc. The call is followed up by fake info/presentation about the pharma project while asking for meeting/interviews with company’s Director & Managing Director in Lahore office and that necessary travel and hotel stay expenses would be reimbursed by the company as per policy! Then the meetings are coordinated at a residence in Bagbanpura, near the Shalamar Gardens and not Lahore office, (with an excuse of the office renovation etc.) and the flimsy appearance of few characters as cos. Directors and another person playing a hand of gambling on the sideline as bet as Table Horse Race and loosing and winning money to a tune of Rs 3 million. Later an informal interview and selection is carried out and the person is asked to pay first instalment, 6% in advance to a tune of Rs. 500 k immediately! Furthermore, no reimbursements of the travel/hotel stay are made and the HR Manager insists that the first instalment has to be made first to initiate the employment process or ADIOS!! The message is addressed to all LinkedIn friends and Pharma colleagues to be aware of this Fake Pharma Co. M/s. Bolan Group of Companies, M. Faisal Manager HR/Admin. and to inform others to remain safe by this scam and not to lose your hard-earned money!!
