We do live in exciting times when it comes to using (wireless) technology in the medical field, which allows for better and earlier detection, reduces workload for medical staff and improves the lives of patient and their personal carers. Seeing the latest development, which is currently being tested in the Máxima Medical Centre in the Netherlands and was developed by Dutch #medtech startup Bambi Medical, hit my mother-of-a-preemie heartstring. This revolutionary neonatal vital sign monitoring system, the Bambi Belt solution, removes the need for adhesive electrodes by providing a wireless solution to transmitting data to the bedside patient monitor. This will improve the comfort of preemies and parents alike. Being able to "kangaroo", skin-to-skin with your preemie without having to worry about cables getting in the way or accidentally setting off the alarm. https://lnkd.in/dCswJFkU
