We are in a pivotal moment in our fight for a just, multi-racial democracy. We are seeing an attack on the very idea of free public education itself, manifesting in the forms of racist & homophobic book bans, and controlled curriculums that root out Black history, Indigenous and African American studies. The attacks on public education today are a continuation of the backlash against the Civil Rights Movement, and our job is to see that its gains are not undone. HEAL Together provides tools and resources for people to advocate for the honest, accurate and fully funded public schools our children deserve—schools that reflect the best of who we are and who we can be. It’s more than just a movement, and your participation is paramount. DEFEND EDUCATION as a fully funded integral public resource, against privatization, and as the foundation of our democracy!
