Big news! So honored that Overlooked has received a Gold Award in the Health/ Medical Podcast category of the New York Festivals. Thank you of course to Lissa Soep, Erick Gomez and Jesica Martinez de Hoz, the small but mighty team that helped me bring this show to life. And hearing from listeners too has been truly an amazing experience for me. Overlooked has made complex health issues easier to understand and engage with, encouraged women to advocate for themselves more strongly, and created a sense of connection and community for listeners. Through these conversations, so many more questions have arisen about women’s health: why we don’t know more, why we can’t do better. So, I’ve decided to keep Overlooked going, and create a second season of the show. It’ll feature conversations about women’s health, immersive personal stories, and broader topics like endometriosis, ADHD in women, and menopause.
