Today will be my first prelaunch event for Movieshouters. My team will only be interacting with 60,000 people, but it will get me closer to the $200 million I am seeking to raise for all 6 ventures. So, take note all you wannabe founders out there. Rasing capital is easy, finding the right investment partner is the tough part.    Now if I was going to use my own capital Movieshouters would be the last venture I would launch. But since I want to raise a lot of money in a short period of time, Movieshouters is the first event I am holding prelaunch events for. At $20 million plus a week, I should have all the capital I need by June 1, 2024, when my gaming agreement expires; thus, allowing me to launch all 6 ventures at the same time.   With all 6 ventures in motion, I won’t need a second or third round of funding. Because Movieshouters will become their personal bank system. If the gaming league, or the Energy Booster venture needs additional funding Movieshouters is where they would go to get a rate free loan.   While I will only raise about $33 million today, I know this is not a lot, but it will allow me to focus on the two sponsors I have and continue to look for Office Space without needing to think about capital/money.    Let me leave you with this: Every Problem has Multi Solutions, and Picking the Right One, Determines Winners from Losers. I want to give a shout out to Jennie Moser at Stagetime for winning the pitch competition last night at Utah Tech Week. Her pitch has valuable lessons for any founder. Here are three things she did right 1) Numbers that demonstrate traction Traction is the name of the game. It always has been... we just went through a weird period where people seemed to forget that. Get traction, and show the numbers to prove it. Her user count and engagement metrics were phenomenal measures for success. 2) Clear use of funds If you're at a pitch competition, you darn better make sure you're showing your use of funds for the prize money at that competition. Otherwise, it kind of seems like the judges are just throwing their money to the wind. 3) Clear subject matter expertise Jennie clearly understands the problem she's solving, which is fantastic to share with investors. If I could offer one suggestion to improve the pitch, the forecasted future revenue was a bit underwhelming. I see this often where the best founders undersell their company by showing ultra-conservative projections over a short time horizon that doesn't inspire an exciting financial future. Agree?
