With all the focus in the last week on the UK election and the presidential debate in the USA, you may have missed this BritishAmerican Business report on the environment for the Life Sciences industry in the UK as a place to invest. This is an update to a report we produced a year ago which revealed major concerns from many of the large US investors. The situation is better, but there remains work to be done to ensure that future investment comes to the UK rather than elsewhere in the region. You can read the report by following the link below. #lifesciences #UKinvestment
BritishAmerican Business (BAB) has today released a new report, assessing the state of the commercial environment for the UK life sciences sector and calling for continued government intervention to strengthen the UK’s competitive edge. The report provides a comprehensive update on the progress made, one year on from BAB’s UK life sciences White Paper, published in May 2023. It offers targeted recommendations to policymakers which seek to address sectoral issues across three areas: Commercial Environment, Clinical Trials, and Trade & IP.
