It’s crucial for healthcare professionals to be trained to recognize that warning signs in women often present differently than in men. Symptoms can be more subtle or atypical, which means they might go unnoticed if these differences aren’t taken into account. Educating medical staff on these nuances is key to detecting issues early and preventing serious complications. The right training can make a big difference in women's health!

I can tell you they are not exclusive symptoms to women. I had jaw, neck and back pain for a month until nausea and vomiting. I had a 5x CABG as a result. Listen to your body and let others know how you're feeling. They can notice things you don't. Stay well 🙏

I know this is from Australia (though no less relevant!), so I went looking for the Irish equivalent of Women's Health Week and... there isn't one that I can see on the HSE calendar. Huh. Considering women have considerably worse treatment outcomes from heart attacks, sharing what a heart attack can also look like is really important. https://hselibrary.ie/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Health-Information-Calendar-2024.pdf
