Our Choiceness Coach serves as a Pro Bono Coach since January 2024 to support our nonprofit leaders at North Carolina Center for Nonprofits. As a pro bono volunteer, Coaching The Center and the International Coach Federation recognize that coaching is the quickest way to get unstuck, recognizing strengths, and take forward-moving action. Through this partnership, coaches share their time and talents for up to five hours of free coaching assistance to 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations and their staff. Human resources is a necessary part of every field of work. Nonprofits cannot afford to go without access to the information they need to get the job done. Our partnership with Raleigh-Wake Human Resources Management Association provides a two-fold benefit. Nonprofits receive assistance while professionals have the opportunity to volunteer in a satisfying, manageable way of one hour of free assistance to 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations. This nonprofit serves all the nonprofits of our state. If you believe in the nonprofit sector and our impact, consider submitting a proposal to speak at the upcoming conference in Fall 2024. Let’s ensure that the speakers, content, and experience reflects the community of our underserved nonprofit leaders and audiences! #SupportNonprofits #NonprofitCommunity #NonprofitCoach #ProBonoConsultant #Localsupport #UnderservedCommunities #SpeakerRepresentation #InclusionMatters #RFP
We appreciate the expertise and insight among our nonprofit community and invite you to share it with hundreds of NC nonprofit professionals. Submit a proposal to present a session at our statewide conference this October! The RFP is open until June 10. 📚 TOC insights to guide development practitioners 💡 Once a nonprofit organization has identified the problem it is trying to solve and chosen an approach to solving it, it must develop and implement a strategy to achieve its goals. In the nonprofit world, the framework for describing such a strategy is called a “theory of change.” This chapter covers three questions: • What is a theory of change and why is it important? • How can an organization know if it is on track with its theory of change and if it is having the desired impact? • As a donor, how might I develop a theory of change for my giving? Check out the link: chapter_06.pdf (stanford.edu)
