To be a skilled and competent iOS dev, you need to know at least the following Apple software languages and frameworks:
Objective-C, Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
As well as, some knowledge of a plethora of other libraries and frameworks, such as GCD, Core Data, Storyboards, Core ML ... and the list goes on.
Today, a recruiter asked me if I also have skills and knowledge with Flutter, Dart, Kotlin, and Python, and all of their associated design patterns, architectures, and libraries.
Me: "No. I have a life outside of software, the least of which is sleeping, eating, and perhaps engaging in a wee bit of recreation from time to time."
Recruiter: "Our client needs someone with up-to-date skills and knowledge of all the aforementioned technologies."
Me: "And how much is your client paying per hour?"
Recruiter: "Standard rate. Around $50 / hr"
Me: "Good luck. Have a nice day."
