We are excited to present our latest research findings in Energies: "A Multi-Agent Approach for the Optimized Operation of Modular Electrolysis Plants". The article explores an agent-based approach to optimizing the operation of modular electrolysis plants. Vincent Henkel, Lukas Wagner, Maximilian Kilthau, Dr. Felix Gehlhoff and Prof. Alexander Fay show how multi-agent systems can enhance cost efficiency and flexibility in hydrogen production, addressing dynamic supply and demand fluctuations and ensuring robust operations even in the face of component failures. This research is part of the eModule project, which develops concepts to support the modular and scalable operation of electrolyzers through automation.
