Full disclosure: Hernan Bonomo is my husband, and the person who has most shaped my political perspective. We often vehemently disagree particularly in the recent roller coaster years of global and national politics that we follow. We have foolishly allowed the capture of genuine civil rights movements by an alliance between opportunistic elites whose only concern is self-preservation, and narcissistic, closeted authoritarians disguised as "socially progressive liberals" on a quest to spread their sense of cultural superiority. This phony diversity doesn't promote equality or any sense of justice and must be rejected.
