Rule number #1: Never pay to receive an award. Why? 1. It's a scam (You should never need to pay to receive an award). 2. If an award isn't earned but bought, you're not doing yourself a favour; you might as well make your website and give yourself a fake prize. 3. Work hard and earn it. Thanks to everyone who voted for Rubix Studios - Surry Hills. Why work with us? At Rubix Studios, we prioritize long-term partnerships over acquiring new clients. This is reflected in our impressive 90% referral rate, which is a testament to the trust and results we provide. We are open to collaborating with startups, but we also understand that established brands look for more than just flashy advertising or social media posts. They seek a partner who shares their work ethic and consistently delivers exceptional quality. This emphasis on exceeding expectations drives our growth as our satisfied clients become our strongest advocates. We are dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of our client's unique needs. As an extension of their team, we work seamlessly alongside their business. Our goal is to craft a continuous growth strategy driven by measurable outcomes. We approach each project with the same care and attention as we would with our own. https://lnkd.in/gVCsdTdK #award #marketing #specalists #webdevelopers #cloudengineers #teamwork

In a landmark move that signals a new era of collaboration, Fingal Chamber and North Dublin Chamber have announced a merger to create a dynamic and unified chamber of commerce, poised to elevate the local business community to unprecedented heights. This amalgamation brings together the strengths, resources, and expertise of two respected institutions, forging a path towards enhanced opportunities, advocacy, and support for businesses. With a shared vision of fostering economic and commercial growth, the newly combined chamber is set to become an even greater driving force for the region's business landscape. Established in 1994, Fingal Chamber supports and promotes the interests of member businesses and organisations to facilitate their growth and success. This involves providing advocacy, networking opportunities, training and development programs, and other resources and supports to businesses in the region. Members benefit by having a voice in decision-making and policy, learning through bespoke and subsidised training, enhancing business visibility and credibility, and building connections through networking. As the only Chambers Ireland accredited Chamber of Commerce based in the region, Fingal Chamber also works with Government Ministers, MEPs, local authorities, and local representatives to deliver pro-business and employment initiatives for the region. Following a decision to merge from their respective member-led boards, from today, the single, stronger Chamber will represent businesses in the region from Drumcondra in the South to Balbriggan in the North, Howth in the East and to Castleknock in the West. Face-to-face networking isn't everyone's cup of tea. And as an ambivert, I can get peopled out quite easily. It took me a while to work out which local networking groups suited me and my business. Penrith Chamber is one that has served me well - so much so, that I became a committee member. Here are my top tips for face-to-face networking: 🗣️ 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡. This allows others to understand what you do and the value you offer. 🎧 𝐁𝐞 𝐚 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫. This helps build rapport. And you'll get to understand how you can help whoever you're talking to - and how they can help you. 💬 𝐓𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. If whoever you're talking to seems interested in a particular topic, delve deeper into it. 🎁 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞. Think about how you can help the person you're talking to - a piece of advice, a referral or a service. You're more likely to get help in return when you need it. 👥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. This can feel less intimidating than one-on-one chats. 📅 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠. Consistency is key. The more you network, the better you get at it and the more connections you'll make. And yes, 𝐧𝐨 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - you're probably not the only business human who's thinking that question. 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐒𝐲𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭? DM me and I'll give you the details. Rachel has been a valued member of the Penrith Chamber for some time now, and has provided so much support to other business owners. Helping B2B Manufacturers Connect Products to Prospects Through Digital Marketing | Owner of Lform Design
Last fall, I attended a golf and dinner networking event hosted by Business Network International (BNI.) ⛳ BNI is a worldwide business networking organization with over 300,000 members and more than 11,000 chapters located in 79 countries. BNI was the first networking group I joined back when I started Lform in 2005, and it truly helped to propel my business forward. BNI operates on the philosophy that “givers gain”--in other words, what you put out into the world comes back to you. In the context of business networking, this means that it is imperative to send potential business to others in order to receive referrals for yourself. I have lived by this philosophy throughout my journey with Lform, and it has never steered me wrong. Pictured here is Catherine Coloff of IT Radix. Not only is Cathy still a member of BNI 20+ years later, but I am still more than happy to refer business to her despite the fact that I am not a member any longer. 😊 In fact, she services one of our best clients, The New Jersey State Golf Association. (Despite our reputation as a B2B manufacturing website design firm, we do also serve clients in other industries!) It was fun to reconnect with Cathy at the golf dinner event. It also gave us the opportunity to reminisce about our friend and colleague Arnie Rintzler, a business consultant who has supported both of us in the past and who sadly passed away recently. #Networking #BNI #BusinessGrowth #GiversGain #Lform #ITRadix #ClientSuccess #BusinessPhilosophy #GolfEvent #InMemory #ReferralNetworking
