Last week in Bolzano, the second edition of the Italian Photovoltaic Network Conference (#ReteIFV) took place, hosted at the NOI Techpark. 📅 The event brought together the leading experts in the Italian #photovoltaic sector, including academics, researchers, and industry representatives, to explore the latest innovations and developments in a field crucial for the energy transition. ♻ A particular focus was given to the contribution of photovoltaics to national decarbonization goals and the policies supporting the growth of the sector, with specific attention to emerging technologies and management platforms like Antares. 💻 In this context, one of the noteworthy presentations was by Alessandro Zorer, Director of Research and Development, who showcased the vision of Antares as a tool capable of fully supporting the sector's activities. 🎤 Thanks go to the event organizers, the Institute for Renewable Energy – Eurac Research, in collaboration with ETA Florence Renewable Energies, for offering numerous sessions for presentations, discussions and networking. #Photovoltaic #RenewableEnergy #EnergyTransition #SolarPower #Decarbonization #Innovation #TechConference #Sustainability #GreenEnergy #FutureOfEnergy

During the panel, she shared her expert perspective on the role that cutting-edge perovskite technology will play in paving the future of the PV sector to support Europe's journey to a net zero society. #EU passes new policy on photovoltaics ☀ ： On May 27, the European Council formally approved the Net Zero Industry Act (#NZIA).The bill needs to be signed by the President of the European Parliament and the President of the Council of the European Union, and then officially published in the Official Journal of the European Union. It will officially come into effect on the date of publication in the Journal, which is expected to be early July this year. The EU Council said that NZIA will promote investment in the clean energy technology industry by: ● Simplifying the #licensing process for strategic projects. ● Facilitating market access for strategic technology products (especially in public tenders). ● Improving the skills of the European workforce in the field of #cleanenergy (such as setting up a net zero industry academy and creating a highly concentrated industrial zone or industry valley). ● Creating an EU collaborative cooperation platform to strengthen communication and collaboration between industries. In addition, NZIA also proposed to provide a favorable institutional framework for #innovative technologies in the field of clean energy to promote their development, testing and verification.
