We were thrilled to sponsor the Imerman Angels Brunch Run in Chicago on Saturday, June 15th! Our longstanding partnership with Imerman Angels is something we are incredibly proud of. Supporting this remarkable nonprofit is close to our hearts because it ensures no one has to face cancer alone. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped us make a difference. Together, we created a community of support and hope.

Interesting statistics as we quickly approach the back half of 2024: - 12% of all nonprofit giving happens within the last few days of the year - 28% of nonprofits raise up to 50% of their annual donations during year-end campaigns - 30% of all nonprofit donations happen during the month of December How do you support your preferred charities? If you participate in Giving Tuesday, what is your motivation? My motivation is the great organizations I get to support through donating to charity teams like Imerman Angels. This year I'm starting Giving Tuesday early by kicking off fundraising for the 2024 Chicago Marathon via Team Imerman. Their mission is to provide comfort and understanding for all cancer fighters, survivors, previvor, and caregivers through a personalized one-on-one connection with someone who has been there. Imerman Angels envisions a world where cancer is not a solitary experience.

Can you help me and my team? The Victory Ride to Cure Cancer is less than a month away. My legs are still not ready, so I think I might have to convince Mujteba Haidri, Scott Long, Pete Deichler, PMP, & joseph gillikin that we should put in a 50 mile training ride this weekend. That said, I'm ~$300 shy of taking the #2 spot for Top Fundraisers. Our team is currently sitting at #2 already but I'm not sure we can overtake the Biker Chicks. This speaks to the importance of building a bigger team for the 2025 ride since they've got at least 5 more on their team than we do. Since I'm reading Anthony Lee's book, Race for Greatness, I'm reading that he used to put in some strong 60 mile rides on his bike back in the day. Maybe we'll have to recruit him for the 2025 Victory Ride? I'm sure there are others in LinkedIn world who wanna join us too. (Just let me know.) If you are able to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts, I would be grateful. One hundred percent of your gift goes directly to cancer researchers. Every year, I hear stories about how someone affiliated with the Victory Ride has a family member who benefited from the research that the V-Foundation funds. Every dollar helps. You can make a secure donation at the link in the comments section. #VictoryOverCancer #CancerSucks #VictoryRide

Unleash Your Real Potential Have you ever wondered how to fuel and train to be at your absolute best? Have you ever wondered how to go beyond what you thought was possible? In 2022, Brian Reyelt did 5,000 burpees in 24 hours to raise money for Vets with PSTD. Amazing. A year later he did 11,988 to raise money for Dana Farber Cancer Foundation and smashed the Male Guiness World Record for burpees in 24 hours. Do the math. 5,000 is 41.7% of his world record. Does 40% sound familiar? You may have heard that when you think you have given everything you have, you are only at 40% of your capacity. Hmmm. Would you like to find out how you can tap into your real potential? Would you like to learn proven physical and mental strategies for being at your absolute best? Then join us on Tuesday, April 16 at 12:00 pm EST for a free workshop - the Zoom link is here: https://lnkd.in/eDTw3Qhv Find out what you can really do.

On June 23, 2020, we faced an unimaginable loss. Ade Ayodele, a vibrant sports executive, dedicated friend, and cherished member of the Ayodele family, passed away from colon cancer at just 31 years old. Determined to transform our grief into purpose, we channeled our energy into supporting the the V Foundation's Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer Research Fund. In 2020 alone, we raised $100,000 to advance the understand the biological basis of cancer disparities. Through Facebook fundraisers, runs, and rides, our community united to prevent others from enduring similar heartache. These efforts have evolved into our annual Play for Ade golf tournament, celebrating Ade's passion for golf and mentorship. This year's event was especially memorable as my little 2-year-old Ade picked up a club for the first time, swinging in honor of his late uncle. Yet, our mission is far from complete. Too many young lives, like those of Stuart Scott, Chadwick Boseman, and Virgil Abloh, are cut short by cancer, and we don't know why. I am proud to announce that we donated another $5,000 this year, thanks to the unwavering support of our attendees, sponsors, and community. That was the seed, but we aim to double (or triple or quadruple) our impact again this year. Join us in contributing to Ade’s memorial fund with the V Foundation (LINK BELOW), and together, let’s continue the crucial work to end cancer disparities. https://lnkd.in/gsaxzvTK #PlayForAde #VCancerResearch #CancerAwareness #Fundraiser #JoinTheFight #InMemory #GolfForGood #DonateNow

🔹Top Award Winning Business Development Strategist 2024🔹Public Speaker🔹Connector for Prosperity ➡️ I help my clients to connect on a human level to cement relationships to win over new business
ONE OF MY TOP 3 -Best Business 2024 A construction company who withholds the challenges of supply chain issues, rising costs to build and continually shows up as a contributor to the wider community in a meaningful way. Why is it that builders are going under yet the Better Living Group can withhold those external forces and still find $100k to donate to Children's Cancer Charity and support Housing All Australians to house those in need? Put simply they care. They put people before profit. They stand for something greater than the bottom line which elevates them above industry standard. This is life-centric business strategy in action that I have been talking about for sometime. The Better Living Group are a glowing standard of operating according to their company values. Values that resonate in a meaningful way with the community, that gets them more business not because of what they do but because of WHO THEY ARE. You could not buy publicity like this for your company. It is not what they are seeking yet it is what they getting for being a beacon of hope in an industry that is falling apart at the seams. This is what draws the market closer to you when you make the decision to do what is right over what is self serving. It opens the door to opportunities, partnerships, collaborations that bring in more business -not through Ai tools, sponsored ads or writing meaningless content but by SHOWING their generosity of spirit, their craftsmanship in ways their competitors would only dream of. It's about being involved in the lives of your market in WAYS THAT MATTER. You don't see them post on construction finished or standing with an award as that is not relevant in today's market. That sort of thinking puts you in a sea of sameness. Congratulations Silvio Mazzei to the continuing work you do for us all here in Melbourne we appreciate you. A lot of other businesses could take a leaf out of your book. Take note Qantas, Coles, Woolworths. #businessstrategy #businesssuccess #construction
We're thrilled to share that last night at the Channel 9 Grand Final Spectacular, Better Living Group donated $100,000 to My Room Children’s Cancer Charity. As a family business, giving back is at the heart of what we do. We believe in the power of community, and the incredible support My Room provides to children facing cancer and their families is something we deeply admire. It’s an honor to align ourselves with such a meaningful cause. We look forward to our continued partnership knowing that together, we can create positive change in the lives of those who need it most and end childhood cancer. #BetterLivingGroup #MyRoom #GivingBack #Community #ChildrensCancerSupport

When a Nonprofit has a vision to help cure pediatric cancer, they need to have the right people on the bus to achieve that vision. Hear Sky High for Kids' inspiring story about how they are helping to make a cure a reality, didn't let the pandemic take them down and have persevered in raising millions and millions of dollars for kids and families fighting cancer. As a bonus, hearing EOS Implementer + Coach Matthew Abrams share wisdom on the impact on leadership teams when they find success with open and honest dialogue, gave great insight. #nonprofit #business #leadershipteam #fundraising #cancerresearch #EOS

Over the last four years, I've donated my hair twice to support cancer patients. Each time, I’ve been reminded of the power of small actions in making a significant impact. Why I Do It: Restoring Confidence:A wig can truly help someone feel like themselves again during a challenging time. Building Community:It’s about connecting with those who are fighting cancer and showing them they are not alone. If you’re considering donating, I encourage you to take the plunge! Your hair could bring hope and joy to someone in need. Let’s spread awareness and inspire others to join this meaningful cause. Together, we can make a difference—one haircut at a time. #HairDonation #CancerSupport #CommunityImpact #MakeADifference
