Do authentic Brussels craft people still have their place in a city like Brussels? This is the question raised by BRUZZ in this nice reportage (and a good question with the vote coming in June). The reportage is more about impact, diversity, regenerative agriculture, circular economy, creation of Brussels Beer Project But the initial question got my attention. Here is my 2 cents What is great in Brussels to start-up your craft business? - People : vibrant community in the city but also easier to recruit staff and partner with some great businesses - Name "Brussels" : depending on your business it can clearly help for local sales, but also some export (even if we stopped export outside Europe for environmental reasons ...) - Support & eco-system : to name a few - Réseau Entreprendre, hub.brussels, but also some people in the political world, and other entrepreneurs ready to support you. What are the big barriers for me? - Administration : creating a business is not so complex, but running it is exhausting as you need to follow so many rules especially in terms of human resources - Mobility : we struggle to get consumers in Dansaert for instance - Cost & space : we made the choice to install our brewery in Dansaert, and a second one in Anderlecht. We are happy to be part of the city, but the logistics, the cost and the space are a competitive disadvantage compared to being outside of Brussels. All in all, I am very happy that we started this great adventure 10 years ago with Sébastien Morvan. I believe we could prove & inspire others that creating a productive business in Brussels is possible, and creates a positive impact. PS: thanks Job Van Nieuwenhove for this nice interview https://lnkd.in/dFWPm2nJ

Successful days in Portugal! 🇵🇹 On the third day of her trip, our colleague Kerstin Houf spent valuable time in Porto. There she took part in important business meetings and expanded her knowledge of the rich history of Portuguese wine. 🍷 The direct exchange on site is invaluable. Maintaining international business contacts in person and understanding the cultural characteristics of the countries is crucial to our success and the successful planning of our trade fair. Such trips offer more than just business benefits - they provide deeper insights, promote intercultural dialogue and strengthen relationships with our international partners. In a globally networked world, it is essential to have a local presence and to know the stories behind the products. We are convinced that this approach leads to better business results and stronger partnerships in the long term. It's more than just business! #portugalwein #prowein2025 #cheersprowein #prowein #proweintradefair #winebusiness #wineprofessionals #winetasting #wineshop #winetrends #tradefair #winetrade #winecommunity #winetradefair #overseas #international #internationalexhibitors #exhibitors

Helping destinations & brands upgrade & attract the right audience with strategies supporting communities✨| Inspiring people to design a life they're excited about 😍| 8+ years of location-independence & full-time travel
Cultures are complex - so how do you understand and represent them in your marketing and content? 💎 Embrace diversity: Every culture has layers and nuances. Understand and show the variation, from traditional to creative adaptations. Avoid stereotypes and show voices from different parts of the society. Collaborations with locals are key ☺️ 💎 Detail matters: Pay attention to the little things that make a culture unique. Could be the gastronomy, behavior, and common sayings. The details differentiates your marketing, makes it more accurate and help people feel a genuine connection 💎 Focus on real stories: Share real stories that reflect the everyday life and diversity of the culture. Highlight local icons, traditions, and daily habits that are often overlooked by mainstream media ▶️ What would you add? ➡️ Have you come across a campaign or a place that made you feel a connection to the culture? How did it stand out? 📷 One of my favorite things is traveling within a country. Gives you a much better understanding of lifestyles and the diversity. Wine culture in Bolivia, a relatively small but important part of the culture (they have some delicious and so underrated wines) 😉 #sustainabletravel #travelandtourism #digitalnomads
