💥Win Hearts | Plant Ideas | Inspire Action 💥 Directing Narratives for Brands to have Emotive Influence
Charisma is important. A transformational leader needs charisma. Even experts are proposing to prioritize wildlife conservative efforts on charismatic species! 😲 I like the simplistic “definition” of charismatic: "If the reaction to seeing one is 'wow' or 'aw' or 'cute', it is charismatic." But when applied to a leader, I guess we can focus just on the “wow” factor 😊 How would you “wow” your people as a leader? #leadership #charisma https://lnkd.in/g5P3sAYN

Are crawfish a gateway drug? 🦞 Everyone seems to have a crawfish story, making them an excellent opportunity to introduce discussions about biodiversity and species’ habitat needs. Dr. Rebecca Bearden recently spoke to my students about the powerful role of partnerships in resource management and aquatic conservation. The Alabama Rivers and Streams Network practices “conservation without conflict”, which grows relationships based on trust, transparency, humility, and always searching for common ground and progress with those around us. We rely on water, and now water also relies on us to protect it. Often, people simply don’t understand the importance of conservation, so it's our job, the environmental stewards, to inform and inspire them to take action. Did you know that 10% of all US water flows through Alabama? This puts a huge responsibility on our shoulders to practice effective environmental stewardship. Many ecological issues seem complex, but really have simple solutions; we just need the right people to connect the dots. Effective communication is key— this is what influences and changes behavior. As Dr. Bearden passionately stated, what we do is not just a job or occupation; it is a calling. A big thank you to Dr. Bearden for speaking to my students and highlighting the power of partnerships in conservation. 🌿💧 Feel free to share your crawfish stories below! https://lnkd.in/ejWigGyb #Ecology #Conservation #Biodiversity #WaterManagement #SustainableFuture #Education #Partnerships

𝘽𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙛𝙩 🔍 Meet Charlie, a 3rd generation Kenyan and specialty guide for Safarini Leadership. His deep knowledge of the landscape, plants and animals of the northern part of the country is unparalleled. Too often, people refrain from specialization in order to be viewed as "multifunctional". Let's shift our thinking on what being a specialist means. Specialists are sought out for their insights and ability to inform others. Charlie's expertise is valuable, not only to his clients, but for the conservation of Kenyan wildlife. What is your specialty? How are you optimizing it to position yourself as a problem-solver in your organization? #specialization #leadershipdevelopment #careercoach

And it's the combination of these human qualities together with his skill, which puts him entirely in a league of his own. I recently spent time with Renias in the field. My goal was to figure out what leaders could learn from expert wildlife trackers. Please watch the video to find out what I discovered ... #mastery #mindset #highperformance #leadership

Whenever I read or hear stories like this, I can't stop but wonder: where was the sensing? Why did nobody stop and say: "This does not feel right"? Why is it so hard to be simply morally creative when trying to impact the planet positively? It should be pretty clear by now, that we should look at solutions for the emerging future from four lenses: spirit, planet, people, and profit. Only when the value of the solution is in balance with these pillars, which it always can and should be, we are looking at a solution that might potentially create exponential benefits. 🌳 Wondering how you can systemically uncover the true potential of your initiative to create exponential systemic value? Send me a message. We've created something pretty unique to get you, your team, and your initiative right where you belong for now and the next 7 generations to come. #regenerativeleadership #consciousleadership #potentialexponential Diederik Wokke Monique Wisse https://lnkd.in/efz3gvU6
