Important things you have to check before using a centrifuge! 1. Clean the drive shaft and the collect with a clean, grease-free cloth and place the rotor on the motor shaft. Make sure that the rotor is completely placed on the motor shaft. 2. Grease all the junctions and bolts of the rotors with high TEF oil. 3. Load the rotors symmetrically without exceeding the maximum weight. Before each run, check that the rotor lid is tightened (angle rotors) or that the bucket lids are properly closed (swing out rotors). 4. Check for possible damage before using the centrifuge (ex. dirt, corrosion, cracks). 5. In the event of any unusual noises when starting the centrifuge, the rotor cap, rotor cover or plug may not be fixed properly. Stop centrifugation immediately by pressing the STOP button.
