We’re excited to have her back 👇 We met Torin Harris last year when she joined us as a media intern, where she created and edited short-form videos for our South African cohort. This summer, while pursuing summer classes in Paris, she will continue her work in this area virtually, producing an animation short film on Artemisia as part of the Alchemist Garden project. With this project, Torin hopes to expand her knowledge of the Zulu language as she will be using it in the production process and narration of the film. On top of that, her other goal this summer is to discover how politics and media continue to be applied together. At Born Global, we love learning about different cultures from around the globe and we are thrilled to have Torin continue her education, while working on her passion of animation with us.

Every year our students begin their art classes by making a collaborative mural that stays up for the whole year. Each child chooses how they would like to contribute. This year they explored variations in colour and experimented with decorating their own circle, a smaller piece of the whole.
