Welcome to Maximizing efficiency with Depth. Once again, I'm joined by Paul Louder now that he's back from his holiday. And we are exploring how you can get any invoices or pictures that your clients have sent to you directly into decks straight from WhatsApp. Don't we know WhatsApp is a popular method of communication between you and your clients? And we want to show you how you can get PDF documents, pictures taken on bones directly in her decks. So I'm going to share my screen on my phone. And what I need you to remember is that for this to work, you need to have the decks that downloaded directly to your smartphone. So this can be anything to me or iPhone, it can be your any smartphone, whatever way you can download text. So jump into my phone. What we have here is we can go directly into a WhatsApp gal. And what you'll see here is that Paul has sent me a PDF attachment with an invoice here. This is for a scooter ride and everyone's ever been on a scooter ride. If my alternative favorite method of transport and what you can do here from here is if I jump into that invoice here, click the share button or whatever the share button is on your mobile phone. This is an iPhone. We jump into here and what you can see is we can share it via deck, but if I just click on that next icon there, this will allow me to share this item into deck. What you'll see here is I can select an organization. From here. I could say, right, OK, it relates to which practice account I have index. So for me it's my UK optimised demo here. And which account? So which client is it going to go into? So for me, it's my zero cloud count and we can pick whichever client it says you're talking about. If you want to, you can select an owner, but you don't have to do this. But for now we're going to put me in there as an owner of this document. Then I'm just going to simply click upload and it's going to make its way into decks and to hopefully what we're going to do now is I'm going to stop sharing. Hand over to Paul. And Paul is going to have a little look and show us, but it's appearing decks and everything's gone over nice and quick in super quick real time. So Paul and deliver to you. OK, thank you, Max. So I'm going to do, I'm just going to share my screen. And what we have here is actually it's already come through. It's come through straight away. This is the invoice Max just had there. We can see from the history that it was uploaded by Max via the mobile, literally. Less than less than a minute ago. We're talking seconds. From going from WhatsApp all the way into decks ready for review and publishing into your accounting software. Now for me, this is where Next is incredibly powerful because. It's so important to have up-to-date numbers and submissions via the WhatsApp. Via WhatsApp is just one of many submission methods that we have indexed. There's a number of different submission methods to really help your clients get that information in. And why is that important? Because if you've got real time data collection, it will ultimately lead to real time reporting that allows you to be more proactive. That means there may be opportunities for you to provide additional services to your clients. And this is where there's one insight that I always love with index within Practice Insights is the delay date index. We have covered it in the past, but the delay day index is looking at the date on the invoice compared to the date it was uploaded into decks. And if you can get those. Numbers down, you have more comfort in terms of completeness of records. No more back and forth with clients asking for missing paperwork. It's all coming through on a regular basis. So as I say, lots of different submission methods available to you and your clients and WhatsApp is just one of those to streamline that whole process further.
