Easy #return is one of the keys to driving Conversion, that's why #eTailers are all trying to make returns easy - but not so easy that it eats away the cash reserve or increases the support ticket on "Where is my Refund?" On top of that, as our CEO Agop says, not all returns need a refund. You can try an exchange, or a gift card with a 5% additional value... that way, your cash stays in your bank, and your customers are happy to have a sweet 5% gain too.

Ecommerce #returns are such a pain. If you ever bought something online and wanted/needed to return it, you know exactly what I am talking about it. And because it's such a pain, it's costing retailers billions of dollars every year in missed opportunities to build loyalty and LTV with their shoppers. Think of it this way: if one retailer makes it hard to return something, and the other one makes it easy - who do you think people will buy from in the first place? Make it simple and easy - and customers will reward you. Make it hard - and customers will shop somewhere else. 2024 will be a pivotal year for retailers who rethink and reimagine their returns strategies. The most successful retail brands will reinvent the returns process as a way to further build brand loyalty and customer satisfaction.
