Recently, CK and Linda put up with sunny Las Vegas weather to be at the SEGD Sports + Entertainment conference, where they took a deep dive into brand experiences, venue design, and immersive exhibitions. And worked on their tans by the pool. It's obvious from their giant grins in front the Las Vegas Sphere that the struggle was real. Thanks for taking one for the team, guys!

I'm excited about the growing focus on live experiences. Experiential marketing is booming across all sectors, from major players like The Walt Disney Company and Warner Bros. Discovery investing billions in their theme parks to mid-size organizations like Gibson, Inc. with its sensorial retail experience 'Gibson's Garage' and, even, restaurant pop-up charts. In-person experiences are accelerating, and many of them are undoubtedly creative and fun to interact with as a customer. However, it's important to integrate this into your strategy without relying solely on it. They are still figuring this out. I keep telling everyone the 360 fulldome is the future of cinema and live performance experience. It’s taken a long time for people to grasp the concept. However it’s not landing yet because it’s very expensive to create content for it. Ed Lantz Kate McCallum saw what our show #RiseThePhoenix has the potential to do and we are still waiting for the world to catch up to us. You see, it’s not just a glorified OmniMax movie like the Vegas Sphere (no offense). The 360 Fulldome gives the audience member an effect on the pineal gland that opens new sensory feelings similar to a psychedelic or Ayahuasca trip when watching a #fulldome movie. This can be for pure entertainment value or have real mental health benefits. Pre pandemic we were diving deep into exploring how to marry the 2 with a fully immersive Dome and live show of my album could have major healing benefits on the audience member. It’s great to see the MSG Sphere Entertainment Co. In Vegas and Cosm commit resources to carve the path in this space. We must keep moving forward and understand that a captive audience is precious and as creators we share a responsibility to give you an experience that’s meant to expand humanity and participate in the evolution of our species as a whole (that’s art). For those who missed the D&AD Festival last week, here's a quick summary of the best bits. One powerful takeaway for me: the true magic of creativity lies in embracing diversity... Sinéad Burke, founder of Tilting The Lens, posed a simple yet profound question: "Is this accessible?" Her words resonated deeply with me, especially since I have a parent who acquired a disability later in life. Sinead reminded us that designing with disabled people, not just for them, is key to building a more inclusive world. Tara Mckenty from BMF Australia, in her eye-opening talk 'Big Data Energy', highlighted how true creativity thrives on diversity. She revealed that the data we often rely on is biased towards dominant cultures, and used hard evidence to show that diverse teams produce better results. FACT. Laurel Stark Akman underscored the importance of involving the very people we aim to reach in the creative process. Authentic voices and diverse perspectives bring richness and depth to work. She shared a wild but wonderful campaign from the niche mobile game The Battle Cats and their 'Out Cat' Black Friday campaign: https://lnkd.in/emVkTeAN - a perfect example of this in action. I think everyone would agree that diversity fuels creativity and innovation. I'd love to see brands and agencies continue to collaborate with the communities they serve to ensure everyone's voice is heard and valued.
