📚🗣️ #ReadAloud Did you know that reading aloud to your children can have a significant impact on their reading abilities? It's not just about the quality time spent together, it's also a powerful tool for their development. Here's how: 1️⃣ Vocabulary Development: When you read aloud to your children, they are exposed to a wide range of words and phrases that they might not encounter in their everyday conversations. This exposure helps expand their vocabulary and builds a strong foundation for their language skills. 2️⃣ Comprehension Skills: Reading aloud allows children to hear how sentences are structured and how words can be put together to convey meaning. By discussing the story, characters, and events, you can help them develop their comprehension skills, understand the plot, and make connections between different parts of the story. #readingabilities #books #readaloud #vocabularybuilding #comprehenshionskills

It's an important part of reading comprehension because it allows readers to focus on the meaning of the text, rather than decoding words. #lit #assessment #scholars #students #read #leader #literature #parents #equity #accessibility #solution #author #assessment #education #educator #fluency
