🌍 World Food Day 2024: "Right to Food for a Better Life and a Better Future" It’s that time of year when we’re reminded that food is a fundamental human right—and no, your third helping of dessert at a dinner party doesn’t count as “right.” We all love a good party, but let’s admit it: we’ve mastered the art of over-ordering and over-serving. Just because we can pile food onto our plates doesn’t mean we should. Those fancy spreads at events? Half of it usually ends up in the bin. Maybe next time, we could plan more wisely—and shock our friends with how much we consume responsibly! It’s simple: Plan what you cook or order. Save those delicious leftovers (they make great lunch!). And maybe, just maybe, let’s stop throwing parties that feel like we’re feeding an army. Let’s celebrate responsibly and push for a future where food is respected, not wasted.
