Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems Co., Ltd. is a leading provider of Burmese amber and gemstones. We are pleased to announce the launch of our new venture, Jedi LuxGems.
(En/Th) Gemstone fluorescence under UV light is a fascinating phenomenon, revealing unique glowing patterns in gems like Burmese amber, ruby, and spinel. This natural interaction between UV light and the gemstone’s chemical structure enhances their beauty and offers valuable insights into their composition. Explore how fluorescence serves both aesthetic and scientific purposes in gemology. #GemstoneFluorescence #UVLightGems #FluorescentAmber #GemstoneScience #GemologyTools https://lnkd.in/gC2aJ5sF

CryoFix OCT Embedding Medium surrounds the tissue and solidifies upon freezing, creating a solid block that can be easily clamped and sectioned. The medium ensures that the tissue remains securely in place during the cutting process, enhancing the quality of frozen sections by providing a uniform cutting surface and reducing artefacts such as tears, folds, or compression. What is the DNA-origami? DNA origami is the nanoscale folding of DNA to create non-arbitrary two- and three-dimensional shapes at the nanoscale. The specificity of the interactions between complementary base pairs make DNA a useful construction material, through design of its base sequences. Rheo-microscopy combines the fields of rheology and microscopy into a unique, powerful tool. In this video, we can see the force required to burst microencapsulates as it occurs in real-time. With a traditional rheometer and a microscope mounted underneath a transparent base plate, we can see how samples behave under shear, whilst collecting rheological data. This includes: ☑️ Crystallisation and melt-profiles ☑️ Dissolution ☑️ Structural destruction/recovery during/following shear ☑️ Agglomeration Learn more: https://lnkd.in/ed4k4Jt2 #rheology #rheomicro

A yellow lesion in the macula: Is it a placoid lesion? 🧐 Is it a choroiditis? 🤔 No, it is merely an artifact! Our essay shows how photobleaching of photoreceptors’ visual pigments, induced by preceding diagnostic examinations, manifests as yellow artifacts in pseudocolor images. ⚠️ Such artifacts have the potential to introduce interpretational biases. For further insights, refer to the publication linked below: https://lnkd.in/drWC2v6n #optos #ultrawidefield #imaging #retina

Over the next couple of weeks here at Henig Diamonds, we want to do a deep dive on our socials all about Fluorescence. Today we pose the question - What causes fluorescence at a molecular level? Fluorescence in diamonds occurs when UV light excites trace elements and defects in the crystal structure. These elements absorb UV energy and re-emit it as visible light, typically blue but sometimes yellow, green, or red. This unique glow is due to impurities like nitrogen and structural defects within the diamond. Don’t forget to follow us to learn more about fluorescents. #HenigDiamonds #DiamondFluorescence #DiamondEducation #GemstoneScience #JewelryFacts #GemstoneKnowledge #DiamondCharacteristics #FluorescentDiamonds #GemstoneProperties #JewelryEducation #B2BDiamonds #LondonDiamonds
