A recent article from Scientific American discusses the importance of regulation in the hospice industry. It's vital to recognize that comprehensive oversight ensures the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care for those at the end of life. Effective regulation can safeguard against the risks of profit-driven practices compromising care quality. It benefits patients and their families by ensuring they receive the support and dignity they deserve, supports healthcare providers in maintaining high standards, and ultimately enhances the reputation and trust in the hospice care system as a whole. Enhanced regulatory measures can lead to a more ethical, equitable, and compassionate healthcare landscape which is something we can all benefit from. #HealthcareRegulation #HospiceCareReform #QualityOfCare #PatientAdvocacy #EthicalHealthcare #EndOfLifeCare #HealthcarePolicy #CompassionateCare https://lnkd.in/e9jJGNfn

When it comes to #grassrootscampaigning, unity is an essential ingredient for achieving cut-through. That's why #RebuildGeneralPractice is uniting GPs across England, Scotland and Wales in defence of the profession and building strong bridges with patients. GPs and patients are often pitted against each other, but the reality is that there is nothing more important to doctors than their patients. But there is a crisis in general practice, with ever-increasing demand and a steadily depleting workforce. Here's what we know at the moment: 📈 There are 6 million more patients on the books 👩⚕️ GPs are carrying out 400 million annual appointments 📊 90% of NHS contact is in primary care The Rebuild General Practice campaign is fighting to reverse this trend, calling on the government to protect the system and patients across the UK. To do that, the campaign works directly with patients who want the same thing: timely and quality care. 🎥 Want to get involved? Check out this video and visit the campaign website in the comments to find out how to save general practice 💉👩⚕️
