When it comes to providing a safe and inclusive environment for trauma survivors, there are a few basic steps we can all take! ➡️ Provide a Safe Environment by actively listening when they open up and being willing to share your own experiences when appropriate. ➡️ Establish Trust by letting them set clear boundaries, being mindful of personal space, and not initiating any physical contact without consent. ➡️ Encourage Open Communication and let them know you are a safe person to reach out to when they feel upset. ➡️ Encourage them to seek out treatment and resources from facilities like Transformations Treatment Center.
