For Q3 determine if you are on track to make your sales budget. A key to selling more 00H faster is planning for a sufficient prospecting/sales cycle. Don’t waste valuable, limited sales time pursuing new business with too short of a sales cycle. It’s unfortunate that management (for their own purposes) sometimes want reps to chase sales too close to posting. Now #kevingephart #sales
What’s Important Now? 3Q OOH Prospecting

Helping Impact Driven Entrepreneurs Build 7-figure Companies through Conscious Sales Training | 🎙️ Podcast Host: Sales Self-Talk
I started my sales career in 2005 selling radio advertising in Orlando, FL. There was no formal training or step by step guide. It was as simple as shadowing other successful sellers and a whole lot of trial and error. By the grace of God and my own tenacity - I managed to figure it out. Even just 19 years ago - sales people were the source of information for their prospects. Over the years, that has obviously shifted. And now, people have more information that ever before. The problem is - most sales training hasn't changed. It's hasn't been updated to work with and and sell to a MUCH more informed buyer. Which is why you find your inbox full of bullshit cold pitches and people asking you questions they can easily find the answer to by simply looking at your online presence. This is also why you're struggling so much with sales. The information available about sales is still speaking to what sales used to look like - not what it looks like today. Good news - Sales has changed. Selling has changed. There is no longer a place for slimy used car salesman, buy or die, high pressure sales. So what's the alternative? Connection. Relationship building. Value + service based sales. In case you need it, here's your permission to stop listening to the "gurus" on the internet that haven't actually sold anything themselves in years. Start listening to yourself. Focus on service. Focus on relationships. Focus on doing good work. Focus on giving a shit. That's how you sell more stuff....

SALES IS THE SPOUSE THAT MARKETING MARRIED!! The relationship between sales and marketing. It is true there is a very close co-relation between marketing and sales. One is as a result of the other, and none can thrive without the other. In my short career in marketing, and I have learned that most people, including people in the career themselves, are not able to draw the thin line between both. Marketing is telling people who are unaware of the existence of a product or service. It is also reminding those who are aware that it is still available. It can also be described as creating the need for a product or service that you offer. It is basically telling them what your business is about over and over until everyone knows. After these people have known or remembered and showed interest, then Sales takes over. They are now tasked with ensuring that these people actually give you money for that product or service. They maximize the interest of this customer by: 1. Upselling - telling the customer about a more expensive product or service than what they came to look for or convincing the customer to increase the quantity of what they wanted to purchase. 2. Cross- selling- Telling the customer about other products or services that they can take to accompany what they had come to purchase. Sales now is in charge of representing the brand that Marketing has built - since they have one on one interractions with the audience that Marketing reached out to. So none can conclusively claim to drive sales and profits for a company since they are basically man and wife (people) in the world of the 3Ps: People, Products & Process.

Sales and marketing are indeed like two peas in a pod lol. They are both vital components of a successful business strategy. Allow me to explain: Sales and marketing work hand in hand to drive business growth and achieve revenue goals. While they have distinct roles, they are closely interconnected: 1. Marketing creates awareness: Marketing initiatives, such as advertising, branding, and digital campaigns, aim to generate interest and awareness in the market. By effectively promoting products or services and building a strong brand presence, marketing sets the stage for sales success. 2. Sales converts leads into customers: Once marketing efforts have attracted potential customers, it is the role of the sales team to engage with them, build relationships, and ultimately close deals. Sales professionals use their expertise to understand customer needs, address concerns, and guide them through the buying process. 3. Collaboration for success: Effective collaboration between sales and marketing teams is crucial. They should share information, align on target audiences and messaging, and work together to create cohesive campaigns that drive results. Marketing can provide valuable insights and materials to support sales efforts, while sales teams can provide feedback on market trends and customer preferences. 4. Continuous feedback loop: Sales teams can provide important feedback to the marketing team regarding the quality and suitability of leads generated, as well as insights into customer needs and preferences. Marketing can then refine their strategies based on this feedback, ensuring that the efforts are aligned with sales objectives. By recognizing the synergy between sales and marketing, businesses can optimize their efforts, enhance customer engagement, and achieve greater success. So, it's no wonder that sales and marketing are often referred to as two peas in a pod! #sales #marketing
