Founder of Scoliosis Reduction Center®, A Leading Expert in Chiropractic Care & Conservative Scoliosis Treatment
In my professional experience, diagnosing scoliosis effectively begins with a comprehensive physical examination, notably the Adams test, to observe any spinal curvatures. This initial step is critical for early detection. Following this, an X-ray is imperative as it remains the gold standard for evaluating the condition, providing detailed insights into spinal curvatures and potential scoliosis with a focus on Cobb angles. This methodology underscores the importance of thorough posture assessment in the diagnostic process, highlighting the precision and detail involved in scoliosis evaluation. #HealthcareInnovation #ScoliosisDiagnosis #SpinalHealth #MedicalImaging #ProfessionalInsights #MedicalExcellence #HealthcareLeadership #PatientCare #XrayAnalysis #PostureAssessment

Distinguishing between symptomatic femoroacetabular impingement and hip instability can be challenging in young patients with hip pain. In our recent study published in Insights Into Imaging, we investigated a potential sign of hip instability on hip MRI, decentration of the femoral head, and found that: 🎯 Femoral head decentration on hip MRI - is best seen on radial sequences - does not depend on the presence/ absence of intra-articular contrast agent - is associated with osseus deformities predisposing to hip instability. 💡While rare in asymptomatic patients, femoral head decentration in symptomatic patients is associated with osseous deformities predisposing to hip instability, as well as with extensive cartilage damage.
Recently-published #InsightsIntoImaging study finds that femoral head decentration in symptomatic patients is associated with osseous deformities predisposing to hip instability. (Florian Schmaranzer et al.) 🔗 https://buff.ly/3T4rCWj

Early rhythm control and healthy lifestyle in over 200,000 patients associated with a 22% RRR in stroke! Before using these data as justification for more ablation, of those in the rhythm control strategy, 99.4% were prescribed an antiarrhythmic (AAD), 7.4% DCCV, and 3.7% underwent AF ablation. Just like EAST AFNET4 and post-hoc analysis of ATHENA, the data support noninvasive management of AF (including AAD) for improvement in hard CV outcomes. https://lnkd.in/evxKWCkc
