According to a recent study by NonProfit PRO, over 75% of nonprofits are experiencing shortages and vacancies, hampering their ability to provide care to some of the most vulnerable populations. One of the best choices a shorthanded nonprofit can make is to contract with proven grant writers to fill their funding needs as they fill other vital positions. I've helped many nonprofits get the funding they need and fill their grant-related vacancies: https://lnkd.in/evrFjqnF

For those who haven't already heard... I'm on the ballot for the Minneapolis Area Realtors Board of Directors! 🙌 Since voting opens up next week (Monday the 19th -- check your email!), I'd like to share a little about what this group does and why I am in consideration to begin with. There has been a lot of conversation lately around the value of our associations. Where do our dues go? What goals are accomplished? And how is any of this impacting your business? The Board of Directors, in addition to providing guidance to the general direction of the association, also dictates where funding goes. Just like our presidential election coming up, who you vote in for these positions will dictate the priorities of the association. With that out of the way... what am I hoping to accomplish? Given all the changes we are experiencing in our industry, I am convicted now more than ever in my foundational beliefs. That to be valuable to those around us, we must first work on ourselves. Build our skills, reach out into our communities, and make meaningful differences. To never underestimate the power of our influence on the lives of those we serve. If we are going to put money into anything... it should go into solving the problems the very people we are tasked with representing. Here's what I'm thinking: A focus on education. Not just towards the newer and less experienced agents, but amplifying the messages of those who serve dozens or hundreds of clients every year. We should always strive for greatness. I've run countless polls, listened to the pleas of friends, and solicited feedback from many of you directly. And there is one major obstacle we need to overcome: Affordability. Housing is out of reach for many and while federal funding goes a long way, we can't effectively utilize those funds unless we change policy locally. And to change policy, we need the hearts and minds of our communities behind us. I've got some ideas -- I'd love to hear yours. Affordable housing. Better equipped agents. That's my platform, and if this speaks to you, vote for me next week. Let's make it happen. #AssociationOfRealtors #BrokerOwner #MNRealEstate #LeadingtheWay #BeBOLD

Hetty Green (November 21, 1834 – July 3, 1916), was an American businesswoman and financier known as "the richest woman in America" during the Gilded Age. Those who knew her well referred to her admiringly as the Queen of Wall Street due to her willingness to lend freely and at reasonable interest rates to financiers and city governments during financial panics. Her extraordinary discipline during such times enabled her to amass a fortune as a financier at a time when nearly all major financiers were men. Dear Women, you can be the next Hetty Green! #invest #propertyinvestment #wealthbuilding #wealthcreation #wealthmanagement #investmentproperty #investorawareness #investmentopportunity #realestateexpert #realestate #realestateadvice #realestatetipsoftheday #washingtondc #maryland #northernvirginia #land #buyland #ownyourfuture #tipoftheday #weekendvibes #weekendgetaway #weekendmotivation #weekendreflections #fearnot #befearless #fearless #fearlessmindset #fearlessfriday #goalsetting #goalgetter #chaseyourdreams #dreamscometrue #quoteoftheday
