BUY QUALITY AND ASK FOR QUALITY SERVICE Workers’ rights are part of “quality” service and the most important part of it. 👩💼 👷♀️ Labor Day is a significant day for workers' rights for a couple of reasons: Historical Significance: 👷♂️ 👨💼 It commemorates the struggles of workers in the 19th century who fought for better working conditions and shorter hours. Back then, factory workers often forced to work for 16 hours a day in unsafe environments. 🙅♂️ 🙅♀️ 🙅♂️ 🙅♀️ Protests and strikes demanding an 8-hour workday and improved conditions led to the Haymarket Affair in Chicago in 1886. In response to this event, May 1st was declared International Workers' Day. Continuing Fight: Labor Day serves as a reminder that the fight for workers' rights is ongoing. ⛑ Workers around the world use this day to raise their voices on issues like fair wages, job security, and benefits. Rallies and demonstrations are common, highlighting ongoing concerns and demanding improvements. So, Labor Day is a day to celebrate the past victories of workers and a platform to advocate for their rights in the present and future. #skynetasiapacific #skynet #skynetworldwideexpress #quality #workers

Happy Labor Day folks! Did you know the labor day parade on September 5, 1882, was actually a strike, with 10,000 workers took unpaid leave, marched through the streets to demonstrate strength of the labor organization. However, the origin of Labor Day is debated, with Peter J. McGuire, co-founder of the American Federation of Labor, often credited for proposing the holiday to honor workers. But, some believe Matthew Maguire, a machinist and secretary of New York's Central Labor Union, played a key role in establishing the celebration in 1882. It wasn't until 1916, after 400,000 railroad workers threatened to strike, that the eight-hour workday became law. To prevent a nationwide railroad shutdown, President Woodrow Wilson signed the Adamson Act, establishing the eight-hour workday as the legal standard. With that being said, the labor day protest on the working conditions during the Industrial Revolution changed the labor laws that included child labor, giving health benefits and assistance to workers who are injured and retired. So, how are you celebrating this holiday? #laborday #labordayweekend #laborrights #didyouknow #mokkup #laborlaws #labordayhistory #funfacts #laborunion
