Excellent for reflection, to review concepts regarding safety in the Public Transportation system in Brazil, which, according to the Federal Constitution, in its section V, article 30, public transportation means are those managed primarily by the municipal government or by private companies through the concession or permission regime. Examples of this type of transportation include the subway, bus and train. In our professional activities, including in the area of safety engineering and expertise, we are always hired by the government and/or private companies to manage conflicts related to accidents on passenger boarding and disembarking platforms. We prepare technical reports as well as reports and projects with the adoption of preventive and predictive measures in order to guarantee the physical integrity of people using the public transportation system. We also meet the requests of the Public Prosecutor's Office regarding ICP and/or ACP. As for the benefits of platform screen doors, we can mention some examples: Passenger Safety, Operational Efficiency, Sustainability and Reduction of Incidents and Accidents.
