For people living with depression, getting the right treatment is often trial and error. Depression is a complex biological illness. But the emerging field of precision functional mapping is advancing our understanding of the changes in the brain associated with this illness. Wellcome Leap’s Multi-Channel Psych program aims to develop an integrated model of anhedonic depression that captures both internal biological factors and externally-manifested, quantifiable measures.
