Reflecting on two inspiring days at the Adobe Accelerate event in Munich! I had the privilege of joining a panel discussion filled with a vibrant atmosphere of curiosity and a shared commitment to innovation and customer-centricity—a passion that both Adobe and PwC fully embrace. A huge thank you to Lucinda Parish, Florentine Hegemann, and Dennis Saatkamp for having me! During the panel, I had the opportunity to share my views on: Top Challenges Our B2B Clients face: In an increasingly tough market, our clients grapple with the need to: 1. Undertake rapid transformation and adoption 2. Deeply understand and listen to their customers 3. Choose the right initiatives with the highest impact and value An even bigger challenge (and opportunity!) is quickly approaching: The Future of B2B Buying Decisions: I am convinced that we're on the cusp of a shift where buying decisions will be AI-driven from start to finish. AI already supports these decisions, but soon, being best-in-class for product and service offerings (quality, price, customization, transparency etc.) will be crucial—it's evolving into a high-stakes game of "winner takes it all." We strongly advise our clients to prepare for this next level in the buying process. PwC's expertise in Business-Model Reinvention (BMR) and our results-oriented approach to AI fit in perfectly. Major Obstacles we see at our clients: One persistent issue is that digital transformation demands end-to-end customer-centricity, yet silos continue to impede success. A growing challenge is the difficulty in defining business cases amidst rapid tech innovation and a lack of best practices. Companies often seem paralyzed by the complexity of setting roadmaps, sequencing, and measuring success. Traditional approaches no longer suffice. We have new ones. The Role of Value in our Sales Discussions: As determining business cases becomes more complex, we continue to focus intensely on appropriately discussing value in our sales conversations with clients. Our renowned business management excellence is a pivotal asset for PwC in these discussions, as well as in project management and ensuring customer success.
