It's time we start hearing definitive statements from all EHRs regarding TEFCA. Hospitals and clinics need this to reduce fraud and abuse. Patients need this for more efficient access to their data. Payers need this to launch their care management, HEDIS, and quality measure programs on this infrastructure. EHRs should want this because it shows parity (or more) with Epic and it's great publicity to announce patient access, Cerner Corporation, MEDITECH, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, and NextGen Healthcare (at a minimum) should be detailing: - Their TEFCA QHIN - Their timelines for getting their sites live on TEFCA - Their approach for TEFCA IAS (either the open/full approach or the Epic style approach) - A statement regarding the availability of TEFCA Operations use case for their customers to join the 10x10 initiative Any other announcement regarding interoperability is just noise and distracting from the big picture.

EMR consolidation is happening in real time. When I started in practice in 2018 in Utah this was the breakdown: University of Utah Health: Epic Mountainstar (HCA): Epic IHC: Cerner Steward: Meditech According to public announcements, within 2 years, all major hospital systems in Utah will be using Epic. What are the implications of this consolidation?

And there it is. As predicted, Cerner dropped their intention for QHIN to kick off their conference. We now have concrete TEFCA plans from Epic, MEDITECH, Athenahealth, and Cerner This represents another EHR departure from Commonwell as EHRs look to move closer to the metal and have more control over their destiny. Also notable is the mention of diagnostic image support intra-Oracle. Not sure how they'll facilitate that without owning the PACS Regardless, interoperability is a network effect for their user they're recognizing (finally). I would love to see specific dates and commitments from them, as well as a statement on IAS implementation.

Auxita’s integration to Epic is just one more step we are taking to tackle the problem of physician burden, and lack of interconnectivity in the specialty medication space. Eliminating redundant paperwork and shifting the focus to collaborative care. #Auxita #Healthcare #Betteroutcomes #PSP #Patientsuport #patientcarenotpaperwork
When it comes to fully interoperable digital toolsets, there's no competition for Auxita. With our platform's integration to Epic, we're helping hospital-based HCPs bid farewell to cumbersome paper PSP enrolment and reimbursement forms, and connecting them seamlessly to their Patient Support Programs. HFMA's recently launched EHR-specific groups have a few unanswered questions from our members. Please see the questions below related to #eClinical Works and #Meditech EHRs and add your knowledge/best practices to assist your fellow members. Thanks in advance for your help. Is anyone using a bot to add charges into the eClinical Works EHR for out-of-office encounters? https://ow.ly/Sqm350Soz0F Is anyone successfully submitting batch 270/271 transactions to a vendor, and the vendor is successfully processing the file back into Meditech? I'm looking for the batch file if someone is willing to share. https://ow.ly/PMhW50Soz0E #HFMA #hfmamembership
