Research we conducted with the support of Ascendion shows the skills enterprises are lacking to be successful with #GenAI
We interviewed 104 leaders of #GenAI initiatives across major enterprises and asked them which critical skills they lacked to capitalize on the new technologies. Enterprises need staff with a probabilistic and problem-solving mindset who are highly adaptable. They do not have an urgent need for software developers and prompt engineers. Services firms seeking to partner for GenAI initiatives must train practitioners who can understand the business context of data needs and implications in the business. We mustn't run the risk of GenAI becoming yet another developer-led solution... this must be a transformative business-led initiative with a clear directive from the C-Suite.
