Return to Your Soul's Root Dive into the profound wisdom of Rumi as we explore the journey of reconnecting with our true essence. From overcoming delusions to finding inner peace, let these timeless teachings guide you back to the root of your soul. I love this poem because it captures Rumi's deep spiritual messages. It talks about: - Running from our pain and living in delusion. - Losing our true selves while chasing worldly pleasures. - Our journey from our noble origins on Earth to finally returning to our Source and spending eternity with God, our "glorious Friend." It inspires us to reconnect with our true essence and find peace in our spiritual journey. #Rumi #Wisdom #Soul #Journey #Peace #Light #Divine #Music #Rock #Spirit #Inspire #Energy #Lyrics #Harmony #Awaken

No Simple way The simple way is not the way of human nature in a long time, to keep us learning through tragedy and deprivation, to let go of the fears, which is controlled by the ego. Reacting from the ghosts of the past, which manifested it self in some semi-conscious or psychic nature. It is only when the human soul has seen its ego patterns, which are destroying the moral temple that scatters in the wind, the healing of the soul can begin. It is not a simple way for the mother to unite in her arms, when one comes to earth and it is no simple way when father’s arms will lift us up when departing from here. The law of truth is simple, for its voice is deep and the base choir singing, as you sow, you will reap. The soul of truth in eternal life with God is the hold to the last. ….. The swing of the pendulum with its society and paternal authority is the terrifying ghost of the past. Half baked knowledge and vague attempts founded on glamour and self-deception to compensate the fear as an aggressive attitude is the display of inferiority. The divine gospel in its simple way is addressed to the individual realization in consciousness, as the holy water. To become separated from the past that limits to lighten up the heaviness of human emotions. The human covenant and coming together of souls is the integration of life and love as consonant of harmony. Love in the divine sense is all inclusive in the state of an eternal plural diversity, as seen in the night sky. One simple way to explain this is, as you look at the night sky, the universe is looking at it self, through your eyes. One just has to follow that way.

Many see the soul as the core of our existence, the essence that transcends the physical body. Some symbolically link the soul to the sol (sun), as both radiate light and life, illuminating and giving purpose. The idea of "old" and "young" souls reflects a belief in reincarnation. Old souls are burdened with the weight of many lifetimes, rich with wisdom and experience, while young souls are untamed, full of energy but lacking depth. In contrast, the Daemon was viewed as a formidable inner force—a guiding power tied to the soul’s higher purpose. It is the voice urging us toward greatness, the soul’s connection to the divine. Spirit, from the Latin spiritus (breath), is life itself—the breath that sustains us. When it departs, so does life. While the soul endures beyond death, the spirit is the raw force, the fire that animates us. Some believe the soul and spirit together form the foundation of our being—one eternal, the other fleeting, yet both inseparable from our deepest essence.

Synopsis of Tonight’s Group on The Evergetinos (Hypothesis XV - Section F para 5-9; G para 1-3; Hypothesis XVI -Section A para 1-7): We continued our discussion of the fathers’ love for abstinence and fasting. While their feats seem amazing to us as well as how little food they needed to sustain themselves, the importance is what this love of these disciplines show us. They were not embraced simply as forms of discipline or endurance, but rather that which humbled the mind and the body. It is counterintuitive for all of those who live in times of great abundance to imagine that radically limiting both the amount and type of food that we eat could have such great significance for the spiritual life. At one point, the practices are compared to David slaying a lion in the protection of his flock. Fasting allows us to put our trust in God, and so becomes a weapon capable of slaying a far more fierce enemy. Similarly, David rushed out to do battle with Goliath with nothing but a sling and a few stones. Likewise, we rush out in battle, unencumbered by the things of this world caring with us the humble weapons of fasting and constant prayer.

Whole (3March24) by no one Love of one’s neighbor receives all its meaning through the love of God: it is impossible to abolish the separation between man and God—to the extent that it can and must be abolished—without also abolishing in a certain fashion, and bearing in mind all the aspects comprised in the nature of things, the separation between the ego and the alter; in other words, it is impossible to realize consciousness of the Absolute without realizing consciousness of our relativity. To understand this well, it is sufficient to consider the illusory, and illusion-producing, nature of egohood: there is indeed something thoroughly absurd in believing that “only I” am “I”; only God can say this without contradiction. It is true that we are condemned to this absurdity, but we are so only existentially, and not morally; what determines that we are men and not animals is precisely the concrete awareness that we have of the “I” of other people, hence of the relative falseness of our own ego; now, we must understand the implications of this and correct spiritually what is unbalanced and deceptive in our existential egohood. It is in view of this imbalance that it is said: “Judge not that ye be not judged.” ~ Frithjof Schuon (1907-1998) https://lnkd.in/gr3kyPF2
