Depend what type of the shot that you want to create. Each of the director and DP have their own creative imagined view. For me, Let say if it is for an action shot scene. Then I would study the action itself, come up with a sequencing concept. Then figure the cameras placement for the effect that the director and I want. Making sure all of the cameras seem to be invisible to each other. All the cameras will be activated by the same remote. So you could simultaneously making the shot for the whole action. That's way you could easily match the action shots together without much errors. 😎
