Okay, so for those of y'all who haven't been following some of the big gnarly jobs like Farley and Ruttan... Why did Pete join Outcome? Who is Outcome?
Outcome specializes in early contractor involvement for complex, remote and northern projects involving remediation, decommissioning, mining, and civil construction scopes where intensive design, risk management, quality management, project planning and project controls expertise is required. While Outcome is often a valued advisory to Owners, Outcome **primarily provides support to constructors; it also has the required bonding (surety) and insurance to participate as the lead proponent or a joint venture partner.**
Outcome is a nimble, responsive, privately-held, value-based organization intensely focused on its purpose: creating certainty for Owners and Constructors.
The firm has over 13 years of corporate experience, over 100 years of key staff experience, and excellent references for safe, on-budget, large-scale remote, northern and indigenous environmental and civil projects.
Outcome fully understands the constraints, challenges and logistics of complex and remote work. This has included mining or remediation projects at Ruttan mine near Leaf Rapids MB, Hudbay's Flin Flon Mining Complex in Flin Flon MB and Anderson Tailings Impoundment Area in Snow Lake MB, B2Gold's Back River Gold mine NU, Jericho mine NU, Bullmoose and Ruth mines NT, Eagle Gold mine YT, Farley Mine near Lynn Lake MB, Faro mine YT, Giant mine NT, Outpost Island mine NT, Resolute Bay Landfill Remediation NU, Eureka and Isachsen High Arctic Weather Stations in NU, as well as many others. Our proven experience extends across northern Canada, and includes some of the toughest access and support constraints imaginable.
A major part of Outcome’s success has been meaningful partnerships with Indigenous peoples; we have achieved Indigenous participation involving from 40% to 80% of employee hours on our projects, and constantly seek to exceed conventional expectations. We are a partner in FORWARD Mining LP, which is majority owned by Deninu Kue Development Corporation. Outcome is also a partner in Nuqsana Outcome Inc. which is majority-owned by Nuqsana Inc., a 100% Nunavut-owned company based in Rankin Inlet. Outcome is also a continuing member of the Brighter Futures Circle of Indspire, a Canadian non-profit providing over $30M/year of funding for Indigenous students, and we seek out opportunities to work with First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples in every way we can - whether as a partner, a service provider, employer or an educator/capacity-builder.
