“Silence is the perfect herald of joy” a quote by William Shakespeare which holds no good for our HR’s For the past few months, I've received numerous messages from individuals seeking job opportunities. Unfortunately, I can only accommodate a few of them. However, I make an effort to refer the others to different organizations. Unfortunately a very common response that I receive is “HR is not Responding” and it is so sad to notice that the same HR’s are posting Hiring Alerts on their profiles. I strongly believe that some HR personnel need to come down from their high horse and humble themselves down to fulfill their responsibilities towards the society. Every corporate position carries a social responsibility to maintain balance in the corporate ecosystem. If you're not meeting this obligation, it's time to step aside and make way for someone who can. A simple reply can uplift the hopes of an unemployed person. It's not mandatory to hire him/her, but it's considerate to communicate that you can't, allowing them to transition to the next possible opportunity. It's akin to a doctor treating their patients. My intention isn't to offend anyone, as many HR professionals work tirelessly to fill corporate vacancies.
