🎢 2024 was a rollercoaster—full of twists, turns, and those moments where you just throw your hands up and enjoy the ride! 🙌 Reflecting on my now 4+ years at Tibber, it’s been an incredible journey driven by growth, teamwork, and continuous learning. Here’s what we accomplished in 2024: ⚙️ Team Expansion: We strengthened our team by welcoming 16 new Support Specialists across Sweden and Norway. 💬 270,000+ Conversations: Successfully managed a staggering workload while balancing human expertise with the power of AI. 💡 Faster Response Times: Introduced live chat in Norway, raising customer satisfaction to over 90%. 🤝 New Partnership: Collaborated closely with Consort AS to deliver fantastic results. 🤖 AI in Practice: With a flood of new tools on the market, we invested time in exploring and implementing AI solutions to boost efficiency and enhance support. 🔋 Building Expertise: Trained 10 SmartCharging Specialists in Sweden in record time, thanks to the support of Kai Marius Alm Rødningsby. Jeanette Helgås & Henriette Myklebust Øye has been promoted as Senior Support Specialists in Norway, paving the way for even greater success. And a special shoutout to Marita Gjerland for her incredible contributions to growing team knowledge in Norway every single day. 💙 The Biggest Thank You: None of this would have been possible without the daily dedication and passion of the Norwegian and Swedish Support team. Forecasting is not simple. It’s more than just averaging prior periods or following a predetermined procedure. Forecasting involves collecting data from a wide range of sources, applying strong modeling skills, and having a keen eye for nuances and trends. It requires the ability to get into the weeds while also evaluating whether the big picture aligns with expectations. Accurate forecasting can drive significant growth and optimize resources, making it a critical function in any organization. 💪 It’s definitely not a job for “two interns and a dog”. I’ve fallen into the trap of underestimating the expertise required in other departments, and I’ve learned that’s a mistake. Many years ago, I advised a colleague to hire someone fresh out of college for a role that required years of experience. It was outside of my area of expertise. It was an epic failure, but it taught me a valuable lesson I’ll never forget: Never assume you understand a role you’ve never performed. Let’s respect the expertise that each role requires and ensure we’re putting the right people in the right positions to succeed. 🙌 #forecasting #trending #modeling

Interesting watching brief as the Roadrunners come to grips with alternate ehailing services and their biz models and technologies. One alternate service actually allows drivers to define their daily objectives and works within the collective objectives unlike those that mess about with their drivers compromising the drivers interests and objectives/targets. Will be interesting to see the comparative results as we begin to run with multiple services in the team. No wonder they picked Grab to harass for Equitable job distribution handouts. . They wouldn't survive with individually responsible daily objectives, ie Revenue Assurance Frameworks and self defined daily objectives.

How Emily (laid off in February) secured a Director of Customer Success role in 2 months: Emily is an experienced CSM in the UK. Laid off like many others in 2024. Getting to final rounds, but 0 offers. Unable to close the deal, she was becoming desperate and even considered taking a low-paying retail job. But... Something had to change, so she took a chance on herself. She reached out and we got to work: 1. We rewrote her entire resume to showcase her enterprise CSM experience 2. Created a strategy on targeted applying to roles in London (more $) 3. Collaborated on her presentations to display upselling and stakeholder management 4. Customized our automated apply tool and job boards for her preferences 2 months into working together, she got the offer. -Remote -Working for a great product -Great benefits -Incredible pay She told me about her biggest 3 lessons she took away from this experience 1. Working with an Enterprise CSM and SaaS recruiter gave her true insight into this process. 2. Being able to have someone to lean on throughout her journey was key 3. Having direct feedback for her presentations was critical in landing the job But this was my favourite thing she said to me Why did you choose to work with me?"
