Education is more than just acquiring knowledge—it is the foundation on which individuals build their futures and nations chart their progress. At a personal level, education transforms mindsets, broadens perspectives, and empowers individuals to dream beyond their immediate realities. It nurtures critical thinking, fosters innovation, and equips people with the tools they need to navigate an ever-changing world. But the power of education doesn’t stop with the individual. A well-educated population is the backbone of any thriving nation. It drives economic growth, promotes equality, and strengthens the fabric of society. Education creates informed citizens who contribute to democratic processes, adapt to global challenges, and uplift entire communities. Investing in education is not just an act of personal growth—it’s a commitment to shaping a better future for generations to come. Let’s pledge to make education a priority—not just for ourselves but for the progress of our nation. Because when we learn, we grow, and when we grow, our nation prospers. What steps are you taking today to contribute to this transformation? Share your thoughts! #ASP #ArjunSinghPatel #RealBotany #ASPforU #ASPsir

The 𝐀𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 plays a transformative role in vocational training by equipping students in government schools with practical skills that prepare them for real-world challenges ,career opportunities and become self sufficient individuals. The Akshar Foundation’s initiatives align closely with the goals and principles of the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 (𝐍𝐄𝐏) 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎 particularly in areas like vocational training, inclusivity, and environmental consciousness along with foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) to create a holistic learning environment for students. We are nurturing the government school students to become agents of change by building mindful and compassionate communities for the future and along this journey, they are learning the value of collaboration, human bonding, and coexisting with nature and animals. Together, we are building a future where these young leaders will carry forward our mission with passion and purpose in their respective communities. Here are the few glimpses of students in government schools trying their hands on tailoring, gardening, bamboo working, eco bricks making, mobile repairing and many more. #AksharFoundation #VocationalTraining #SkillDevelopment #NEP2020 #HolisticEducation #GovernmentSchools #YouthEmpowerment #SustainableFuture #SkillUp #EnvironmentalConsciousness #InclusiveEducation #MindfulCommunities #FutureLeaders #PracticalLearning #EducationForAll #FLN #CommunityBuilders #HandsOnSkills #EcoFriendlyInitiatives #SelfSufficiency

🌍 Shaping the Future: The Role of Education in Sustainability and Empowering Communities 🌱 Pakistan Education Summit 2025 Aga Khan University Examination Board Dr. Naveed Yousuf delivered a powerful keynote address on the transformative role of education in shaping a sustainable future. Education is a critical tool in not only imparting academic knowledge but also in equipping individuals with the skills to manage resources responsibly, address environmental issues and build sustainable livelihoods. Some key takeaways from Dr. Yousuf’s address: Health & Lifestyle Change: A student’s simple yet profound advice to their mother regarding lifestyle changes led to a significant reduction in kidney stones. This not only improved health but also reduced the financial burden of frequent medical treatments. Environmental Awareness & Conservation: In the mountains of Gilgit, students took the initiative to raise awareness about the dangers of illegal hunting, highlighting the long-term effects on local wildlife, tourism, and the economy. Through persistent dialogue, they were able to influence a renowned hunter to stop illegal hunting, emphasizing the importance of conservation. Gratitude & Community Impact: In the interior of Sindh, a student heard his father was inspired by the endless love and support of his aunt. He wanted to express his gratitude to his aunt who always helped and supported him in a time of need but hadn’t seen for a long time. After hearing about this, the student’s mother asks for the address, took the time to visit her and express appreciation with a dish. This simple act of kindness sparked a ripple effect in the community, emphasizing the power of gratitude in fostering positive change. These stories reflect the profound impact that education can have, not just academically, but in shaping healthier, more sustainable communities. 🌍✨ #EducationForSustainability #CommunityEmpowerment #PakistanEducationSummit #HealthAndWellness #EnvironmentalConservation #Gratitude #FutureOfEducation

In #NewZealand and elsewhere, increasing numbers of children are entering #schools with specific health needs. ´A recent English secondary analysis of official data concludes that the proportion in that system may be as high as 40% or 4 in ten today. So when the government plans to invest millions into structured literacy, the question arises if well-being should not be integrated as part of the strategy´. The Conversation Australia + NZ states is ´largely missing from the discussion on the impact health can have on learning and academic achievement´. This data report from NZCER offers an interesting teachers 2023 perspective on what we may need to address, to help children be well at school, in order to be good at learning and their best in life. https://lnkd.in/gJCk5v9w #education #wellbeing #innovation #PHD The University of Waikato
