Congratulations to our structural heart team for completing their first procedures using the Abbott Navitor™ TAVR valve! Oklahoma Heart Institute is the first hospital in Oklahoma to use this technology, which is the newest TAVR valve platform to be approved in the United States. Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) is a minimally-invasive, life-saving procedure for treatment of aortic stenosis, the narrowing of the main heart valve. We are thrilled about the ongoing technological advancements that we can use to assist our patients who struggle with aortic stenosis symptoms! OHI boasts the most comprehensive structural heart disease program in the state with access to cutting-edge clinical trials and FDA-approved therapies.
