A Journey of Perseverance: Celebrating Our Collective Success in GATE CS
This week, I am thrilled to share not just a personal achievement but a collective victory alongside six remarkable individuals from Bengal. Over the past year, I've had time to reflect on our journeys. Despite our varied backgrounds and the unique challenges, we were united by one goal: excelling in the GATE CS examination.
Despite our varied backgrounds, we faced distinct challenges on our paths. One of us traded a comfortable work-from-home private sector job for the rigorous academic environment of an esteemed college. At the same time, another left a high-paying public sector job to pursue this dream. For one, getting into IIT Bombay was the only goal, overshadowing all other ambitions. At the same time, another battled severe health issues throughout the preparation period. Financial constraints held one back, and another faced significant family pressures. Yet, our determination never wavered.
Attached is a photo from our celebration—each slice of the cake proudly displays our ranks, ranging from 52 to 405, symbolizing the sweetness of our shared success.
Whether it was aiming for IITB or making significant career changes, our journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and the strength found in solidarity.
Let's celebrate this milestone not just as an academic achievement but as a testament to what can be accomplished when you turn every hardship into a stepping stone towards success.
